10 September PraiseEven in this time of trial, I am rejoicing in all that the Lord is doing for me. Here is something I just wrote:
Master and Creator
of Heaven and Earth;
Master and Creator
ever since my birth.
Master and Creator,
Artist of the Sky;
Master and Creator
with you my spirit flys.
Oh LORD, how I love you.
You put my soul at ease.

I find peace when you are pleased.
Here I bow before you,
and for you, on my knees.

Yes, Abba, your name do I raise! 06 August ChristiansBeing a Christian does not mean that I am perfect, so, when I tell people, "I am a Christian," it does not mean that I am saying, "Hey, look at me I am perfect, and I am better than you."
I finally found a poem that explains exactly what it means to profess to people that you are a Christian. This is exactly how I feel.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace,
somehow!

Serenity, tranquility, peace of mind
these are the things we humans try to find.
We look to earthly people, big money and more time.
Dear Lord, neither of these are worth a dime!
It is you who provides the air that we breath;
It is you who provides the light so we may see!
It is you who provides the food that we crave;
It is you who has died and rose from the grave!
Oh Lord, I cry out to you why?
Why are we so blind?
For only you provide
serenity, tranquility, and peace of mind!
